In February 2010, the Board reviewed the past five years of accomplishments and also began to think about the road ahead for the next five years.

I am pleased to announce that the Board has taken the words of our Tūpuna and our Tribal Pepehā as a guide for the Board's activites.

Within these words is a realisation of what is special and available to Ngāti Tūwharetoa. It embodies all of our whakapapa, taonga and our place in Te Ao Hurihuri.
