The Tuwharetoa Maori Trust Board would like to congratulate the Committee and all Kaimahi who worked untiringly leading up to, during and after the two day Marae Sports. Both days went extremely well with excellent participation from Ngati Tuwharetoa Hapu.

On the 26th November the Board held its information hui with the Auckland folk at Te Mahurehure Marae with representations from the Tuwharetoa Maori Trust Board, Tuwharetoa Settlement Trust, Tuwharetoa Hapu Forum, Forest Trust and Ngati Tuwharetoa Fisheries Charitable Trust staff. The evening began with the Boards presentation followed by Tuwharetoa Hapu Forum presented by Danny Loughlin, Lake Taupo Forest Trusts presented by Amy Walker and Stephen Asher and finally Tuwharetoa Settlement Trust presented by Lennie Johns. Seventy people were in attendance and the mood of the evening was very good. Feed back from participants was appreciative especially with the unveiling of the Tuwharetoa Moteatea resource which were handed to the participants.
