The Tūwharetoa Māori Trust Board is currently selling a range of Tūwharetoa merchandise. You can order via the attached order form.

Adoption of the Tūwharetoa Logo

Early in 2008 a competition was held amongst Ngati Tūwharetoa to create a Tūwharetoa logo that could be used by Ngāti Tūwharetoa entities to provide cohesiveness for the many entities who affiliate to the rohe.

The winning artist was Timoti Pekamu of Ngāti Waewae, Tokorangi. His logo depicts the Ngāti Tūwharetoa pepeha and is currently being utilised on a line of successful merchandise being managed by the Tūwharetoa Māori Trust Board.

This logo is able to be utilised by Tūwharetoa companies who fit a range of criteria to be used as a co-brand for their current company brand. There are conditions to the use of the logo, however the Board sees this as an opportunity to create a collective brand that does not degrade current logos but enhances their Ngāti Tūwharetoa profile.

The logo is also available for use with conditions to Ngāti Tūwharetoa sports teams who are representing the Iwi at major events.

The conditions for the use of this logo is available from info@tuwharetoa.co.nz  and we would welcome a proposal from Ngāti Tūwharetoa organisations who may find value in this brand use and promotion. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
